In their statement, the EU ambassadors expressed their support for empowering women as a catalyst for positive change, highlighting its importance for sustainable economic growth and prosperity. They reiterated the EU’s commitment to “continue supporting Yemeni women as key players in achieving good governance, peace, and security.”

The statement also detailed the meetings the ambassadors held with government officials, including the Minister of Interior, Deputy Governor of Aden, Chairman of the Aden Rehabilitation Committee, Deputy Chief of the Coast Guard, and Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen.
