Sultan al-Aradah Calls for Unity Among Yemeni Forces to Meet National Aspirations

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Sultan al-Aradah, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, emphasized the need for all Yemeni factions to work collaboratively and overcome differences to unite the national front in pursuit of the people's aspirations.

His remarks came during separate meetings with the Mayor of Sana'a, Abdul Ghani Jamil, and the Governor of Hajjah, Abdul Karim al-Sanini, where they discussed various humanitarian and field-related issues, as well as ways to enhance efforts to address challenges and meet urgent needs, according to the official Saba news agency.

Al-Aradah received brief reports from the Mayor and the Governor regarding the performance of local authorities and their efforts in humanitarian and service sectors, coordinated with local and international partners amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Yemen.

He underscored the political leadership's commitment to strengthening the presence of the state and its institutions, aiming to positively impact the lives of citizens by addressing challenges through various means.

Moreover, al-Aradah stressed the importance of increased coordination among relevant entities and the need for collective efforts to confront risks, urging all possible measures to alleviate the suffering of the people.

He also highlighted the significance of cooperation and integration among different authorities to achieve shared national goals and the necessity of utilizing all available resources to improve humanitarian and developmental conditions while enhancing services for citizens.

In response, both the Mayor of Sana'a and the Governor of Hajjah expressed their appreciation for the Council's support in improving the general situation. They acknowledged al-Aradah's ongoing commitment to addressing obstacles and overcoming challenges, noting that this support serves as a strong motivator to fulfill their responsibilities and serve the nation.
