On Thursday, December 5, 2024, Sultan Al-Aradah, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Marib emphasized the commitment of state institutions to continue their work with determination and resolve to overcome various challenges.
Al-Aradah made these remarks during a meeting of the Executive Office of Marib, which focused on reviewing performance reports from several executive offices and developing general plans to prioritize upcoming initiatives across various sectors, as reported by the official Yemeni news agency, Saba.
During the meeting, Al-Aradah stated, “We will continue our efforts and overcome all challenges in all areas, as this exceptional phase requires teamwork and the highest standards of responsibility, prioritizing the public good and collective action to achieve our goals.”
He stressed the need to enhance efforts and optimally utilize available resources to improve the quality of services provided to citizens and to enhance their living conditions amid the difficult circumstances facing the country.
Al-Aradah urged executive office directors to strengthen institutional capacities and improve administrative and service performance in all state institutions, aligning with strategic plans based on the urgent needs of citizens, which he deemed essential for achieving desired objectives.
He called for enhanced communication and coordination with regional and international partners and donors to address the increasing humanitarian needs and alleviate the significant pressures on infrastructure and service institutions due to ongoing displacement and the influx of internally displaced persons, along with resource scarcity and reduced funding for international organizations in the governorate.
The council member praised the efforts of all governmental offices and institutions and the successes achieved in recent times, attributing these accomplishments to collective work and sincere willpower that have driven development despite challenges. He expressed confidence in everyone’s ability to achieve further successes and future aspirations.
Al-Aradah noted that the reports submitted by the executive offices are not merely numbers and statistics but serve as valuable tools for decision-making when properly analyzed.
According to the agency, the Executive Office began its meeting by reviewing and approving the minutes from the previous meeting, discussing the decisions and actions taken regarding the issues raised, and what had been implemented by the relevant bodies.
