Marib Celebrates 167 Grooms from the Resistance of Sana'a

On December 12, 2024, the city of Marib in northeastern Yemen hosted a mass wedding for 167 grooms from the Resistance of Sana'a, organized by the Supreme Council for the Resistance.

During the ceremony, Muhammad Hasan Al-Far, Vice President of the Supreme Council for the Resistance of Sana'a, emphasized the importance of social events that support and encourage youth to marry. He noted that the mass wedding reflects the council's appreciation for the sacrifices of the fighters and aims to alleviate their economic burdens, according to the Yemeni news agency Saba.

Al-Far praised the role of the army, security forces, and resistance fighters in achieving freedom and dignity, stressing the need for their continued defense of the homeland against the Houthi insurgents.

The grooms expressed their overwhelming joy at the occasion, extending their gratitude to the Council of Resistance in Sana'a and all those involved in organizing the wedding. The event featured various artistic and literary performances, including a musical operetta and a poetry recital.
