On December 31, 2024, a tribal source reported the discovery of a burnt car and charred weapons in a desert area of Marib, northeastern Yemen. The vehicle, according to Barran Press source,  is believed to belong to "Marzouk Yahya Al-Zuhri Al-Dahmi," a young man from Al-Jawf who has been missing for approximately 20 days after communication with his family ceased.

The car was found incinerated in the "Mughaifar" area of Marib Valley, along with personal belongings, including two Kalashnikov rifles. The family of the missing youth, who hail from the Dahm tribe in Al-Jawf, identified the vehicle; however, there has been no sign of his body or any indication of his fate—whether he perished in the incident or remains alive.

According to the source, the family has called on the Dahm, Al-Jawf, and Marib tribes to assist in uncovering his whereabouts. They have established a tribal gathering in the "Asab" area of Marib Valley to facilitate this effort.
