On January 8, 2025, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) announced that its teams have been unable to deliver aid through the Hodeidah port due to recent Israeli airstrikes targeting Hodeidah port and Sana'a International Airport.

In a statement shared on the platform X, which was reviewed by Barran Press, the organization noted that it has had to redirect medical and humanitarian supplies, resulting in delays in reaching those in need.

MSF expressed deep concern about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen following the recent attacks on critical infrastructure, including the airport and the port.

The organization called on all parties involved in the conflict to respect vital civilian infrastructure to ensure the rapid and effective delivery of humanitarian supplies.

On December 26, 2024, Israeli aircraft conducted airstrikes targeting the vicinity of the Al-Dailami Airbase and Sana'a International Airport, as well as a power station and three strikes on Hodeidah port and energy facilities.
