As of January 10, 2025, the National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast cold weather conditions and sporadic rain across various regions of Yemen in the coming hours.

In its daily bulletin, the center indicated that mountainous areas, particularly in Al-Bayda, Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran, and Saada, will experience cold temperatures during the night and early morning. The report also noted that the higher elevations of Ibb, Al-Dhale, Lahij, Abyan, Marib, and Al-Jawf will see relatively cold to cold temperatures, with the possibility of fog or mist forming in some western mountain regions and interior plateaus.

During the day, low-lying clouds are expected to develop over parts of the western mountain ranges adjacent to the Tihama plain, with light rain anticipated in some areas along the southern coastal regions.

Along the southern coastline and adjacent inland areas, partly cloudy skies are likely, with light scattered rain possible. Meanwhile, other coastal regions will remain mostly clear to partly cloudy, with moderate to brisk winds affecting the southern western coast, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the western Gulf of Aden, including the Socotra Archipelago.

The center also highlighted that desert regions will likely see relatively cool to cold conditions at night and in the early morning, with moderate winds occasionally stirring up dust and sand.
