The Yemeni army announced on Saturday that it had successfully repelled multiple attacks by Iran-backed Houthi militants across several fronts in the Marib, Al-Jawf, and Taiz governorates.
According to the army's official website, September Net, military sources reported that the army thwarted several Houthi assaults on the northwestern and southern fronts in Marib.
In Al-Jawf governorate, eastern Yemen, the army successfully repelled a Houthi infiltration attempt on the Al-Jadafer front.
Meanwhile, in Taiz governorate, southwestern Yemen, the army managed to foil another Houthi infiltration attempt on the northeastern front of Taiz city.
The sources added that the Houthis continue to carry out attacks against army positions in Taiz using artillery and mortar shells. They also noted the arrival of Houthi reinforcements to frontline positions in the province, signaling an effort to intensify the conflict.
