Taiz Police announced the arrest of Walid Shal'a, the main suspect in the murder of Saif al-Sharaabi, the father of journalist Ghadeer al-Sharaabi, nearly two weeks after the crime.
The arrest was made with the help of the Al-Nasser Brigade in Jabal Habashi. Earlier, Taiz Police arrested another suspect and eight others involved in hiding the main suspect.
On December 31, 2024, Saif al-Sharaabi was killed after objecting to the suspect and his accomplices using his house gate to gather and chew qat, turning the incident into a public case.
