Yemen Rejects Trump's Proposal to Relocate Palestinians to Neighboring Countries

Yemen’s internationally recognized government has strongly opposed any attempts to forcibly relocate Palestinians from their homeland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Friday.
In a statement seen by Barran Press, the ministry condemned any displacement of Palestinians as a violation of international law and the UN Charter, emphasizing that it contradicts their legitimate right to self-determination.
The statement reaffirmed Yemen’s support for a just and lasting peace, which can only be achieved through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the two-state solution and relevant international resolutions.

U.S. President Donald Trump proposed resettling Palestinians from Gaza in neighboring countries such as Egypt and Jordan—a move that aligns with Israeli extremist agendas and disregards Palestinians’ fundamental right to their land.
Trump’s proposal has drawn widespread condemnation from Arab and Islamic nations, as well as various international bodies.
