Fourth Houthi Cell Apprehended in Yemen This Week

Security forces in Hadramout, eastern Yemen, have apprehended a fourth Iran-backed Houthi cell this week, according to the Yemeni News Agency, Saba. This cell was attempting to smuggle drugs.
The Hadramout Criminal Investigation Department reported that police intercepted the cell after a chase, resulting in the suspects' vehicle overturning. The driver, from Saada, was found with 23 Captagon pills and arrested after receiving hospital treatment.
Three other individuals were arrested for attempting to aid the driver's escape.  Preliminary investigations indicate their affiliation with the Houthis.
This follows the capture of two individuals infiltrating Yemen from Iran in Al-Mahrah on February 5, and a five-member Houthi cell in Abyan on February 4, both by Yemeni security forces.
