A large rally was held in Taiz on February 11, 2025, marking the 14th anniversary of the February 11 Revolution. Organized by the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance and other revolutionary groups, the demonstration called for continued resistance against the Iran-backed Houthis and the restoration of state institutions.

The rally, which began on Jamal Street and concluded at Freedom Square, featured chants reaffirming revolutionary goals, according to a Barran Press correspondent.

In a statement, the Popular Resistance Council in Taiz highlighted the revolution's legacy, connecting it to the September 26 and October 14 revolutions. The council condemned the September 21, 2014 coup, which it described as a dark period that exacerbated Yemen's economic woes, and praised the February 11 Revolution for promoting national unity and dialogue. The council stressed the importance of unity and collective action to achieve revolutionary objectives, urging political leaders to prioritize economic recovery and alleviate public hardship.

The anniversary was also marked by a public celebration in Taiz on the evening of February 10, including fireworks and an artistic festival, with the participation of the Youth Revolution Council.
