Military sources reported that a Houthi infiltration attempt into Yemeni army positions in Al-Jawf governorate (northeast Yemen) on Tuesda resulted in casualties.

According to the Armed Forces Media Center, Yemeni army units successfully thwarted the Houthis' attempt to breach a military site on the Qanaw front, east of Bir Al-Maraziq.

Sources indicated that Yemeni army units detected Houthi movements near their positions and engaged them with medium and light weapons. The ensuing hours-long clashes resulted in four Houthi deaths and five injuries, as well as the destruction of a Houthi military vehicle.

The sources pointed out  that the eastern fronts of Al-Jawf continue to experience intermittent clashes due to repeated Houthi attacks.
