Tariq Saleh, a member of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council and commander of the National Resistance Forces, announced that victory against the Iran-backed Houthis is closer than ever. Speaking during a visit to the Al-Barah Front on Friday, Saleh pointed to recent international and local developments as signs of an imminent triumph in the fight to retake Yemen’s capital, Sana’a. He described the outcome as "inevitable" and called for preparedness ahead of a decisive battle.
Saleh added that the Houthis, despite their reliance on Iranian-supplied missiles and drones, are "destined to collapse." He criticized the Stockholm Agreement, arguing it gave the militia time to regroup and rearm, extending the conflict and enabling attacks on international shipping and neighboring nations. He referenced the Houthis’ recent claim of possessing 2,500 missiles and drones, noting their inability to strike Israel effectively while inflicting civilian casualties in Yemen.
Saleh urged unity among Yemen’s forces to confront the Iranian-backed militia, emphasizing solidarity across all battlefronts.
