Yemeni military sources reported on Thursday that Houthi attacks on army positions in southern Marib were successfully repelled. According to the Yemeni Ministry of Defense's "September Net," the army countered the Houthi assaults with a counteroffensive across multiple fronts.
On Al-Balaq front, the army thwarted a Houthi infiltration attempt, inflicting casualties and destroying combat vehicles. 
Meanwhile, Houthi artillery fire killed one soldier, as army positions in southern, northern, and northwestern Marib came under  shelling.

In response, the army targeted Houthi positions, causing further losses to the group, the military source added.
