The United States has continued its sustained campaign of airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen, now spanning nine consecutive days. Recent attacks focused on Sana’a and Saada provinces, specifically targeting the Sahar and Saqin districts. Houthi media reported that a strike on a building in Asr, west of Sana’a, resulted in 15 fatalities.

U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz stated that the operations have successfully eliminated "key Houthi leaders," including an individual described as their chief missile expert. In an interview with CBS News, Waltz detailed that U.S. forces targeted Houthi headquarters, communication infrastructure, weapons manufacturing facilities, and drone production sites. He characterized the Houthi forces, supported by Iran, as posing a similar level of threat to that of al-Qaeda or ISIS.
While official U.S. sources have not disclosed the identities of those killed, a source in Marib, speaking to Barran Press, identified three prominent Houthi leaders killed in a U.S. strike on a facility in the Majzar district. These individuals were named as Yahya Ali Abdullah al-Naims, Hassan Khaled Saud Aboud Dhaifallah, and Saqr Saleh Al-Dahsha. Al-Nnems was described as a key figure responsible for significant Houthi operations in Marib and Al-Jawf.
