Five individuals were reportedly killed or injured in separate drone strikes on Sunday in Hadhramaut Governorate, eastern Yemen. Local sources suspect U.S. involvement.

One strike targeted and killed a pedestrian near the royal hangars behind Al-Abr Market in Al-Abr District. The victim's remains were reportedly unidentifiable. Witnesses noted increased drone activity over Al-Abr earlier in the day.

An hour later, another strike at the Shabwa-Al-Abr junction hit two vehicles, destroying one and killing its driver while injuring three passengers. The second vehicle was undamaged.

Separately, a reported drone strike in Ataq City, Shabwa Governorate, on Saturday evening, April 12, 2025, killed one person.
