The body of 14-year-old Murad Ali Al-Batani was discovered in the Wadi Mathab desert area of Houthi-controlled Al-Matun District, Al-Jawf Governorate, northeastern Yemen, two days after he was reported missing, local sources confirmed on Wednesday.
Information obtained by "Barran Press" indicated that local residents found the teenager's remains. The victim had reportedly sustained multiple stab wounds inflicted by a dagger and was found near his motorcycle.
Murad Ali Al-Batani, who worked as a motorcycle taxi driver in the district’s Monday Market, was last seen alive late on Monday evening. His body was discovered in a remote desert area close to his vehicle, prompting an investigation into suspected murder.
