Three members of the Popular Resistance were killed on Saturday during clashes with the Iran-backed Houthi group in southern Marib governorate northeastern Yemen.
According to local sources, the fallen fighters were from the family of the Yemeni Presidential leadership Council Vice President Sultan al-Aradah and identified as Saleh Mubarak Hamad Al-Aradah, Sultan Saleh Hussein Al-Aqel Al-Aradah, and Abdullah Ali Al-Aqel Al-Aradah.

They were killed by Houthi shelling at Al-Akkad positions on Marib’s southern front.

The sources added that the three were killed following artillery shelling by the Iran-backed group on the positions where they were stationed alongside their comrades from the National Army, the Popular Resistance, and local tribal forces.
Meanwhile, as the Houthis continue to face sustained U.S. airstrikes, they have intensified their bombardment with missiles, drones, and artillery against army positions across various fronts in several provinces.
