Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad al-Alimi urged Arab leaders at the 34th Arab Summit to take decisive action against the Houthi group, labeling them a terrorist organization. He stressed Yemen's "existential struggle" and called for the implementation of the Arab League's decision to designate the Houthis as terrorists.

Al-Alimi stated that Yemenis are determined to end the Houthi presence, citing exhausted efforts to find a peaceful resolution. He appealed for Arab support, emphasizing the need for a unified stance to counter militias challenging national sovereignty.

On the economic front, he expressed hope for collective initiatives to aid conflict-affected nations. He also praised the Saudi-led coalition's support for Yemen.
Al-Alimi reiterated Yemen's commitment to Arab principles, including the Palestinian cause, and called for action against foreign interference in Arab affairs. He concluded by congratulating Syria on the lifting of sanctions and thanking Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
