Tribal sources in Al-Jawf governorate (northeastern Yemen) stated on Tuesday, May 21, that the tribes of Hamdan Al-Fauman and Bani Nawaf are mobilizing to break the blockade imposed by the internationally classified terrorist group, the Houthis, on the people and residents of the "Al-Fuqman" tribe for the fourth consecutive day.
According to sources cited by "Barran Press," a military campaign led by the brother of the Houthi leader, "Abdul Khaliq Al-Houthi," the commander of the so-called "Central Military Zone" affiliated with the group, is enforcing a "tight siege" for the fourth consecutive day on the homes of the "Al-Fuqman" tribe in the "Khulq" district of Al-Jawf governorate.
The Houthi campaign is besieging the "Al-Fuqman" tribe due to the killing of a leader in the group, "Mohammed Ahmed Al-Murani," in clashes between the "Al-Fuqman" and "Al Hamad" tribes in "Khulq" as a result of an "old vendetta," during which "Al-Murani" was fatally shot, according to the sources.
