Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Tarig Saleh, stated on Tuesday that Yemenis are united in their fight against the Iranian project, which he claims threatens regional security, and are standing as a bulwark for all Arabs and Muslims.
Saleh made these remarks during an inspection of the 9th Republican Guard Brigade in the Al-Barah axis, as part of his Eid al-Adha visits to troops stationed on the western coast, according to the official Yemeni news agency Saba.
He emphasized that Yemen's resilience has prevented the Iranian project from taking control of the country and southern Arabia.
Saleh asserted that "liberating the kidnapped capital Sana'a and restoring the state is an unyielding goal," urging the forces to "remain prepared, vigilant, and on high alert."
He described the opening of the road to Taiz (Al-Kadha-Al-Bayrin) as the first shot in breaking the unjust siege imposed by the Houthis on the city for nine years without justification.
Saleh claimed that the blocking of roads and the siege of civilians were deliberate decisions by Abdulmalik al-Houthi, devoid of military rationale and driven by revenge. He warned of the dangers of the situation in the Red Sea, which he believes serves the Iranian project and does not benefit their "brothers in Gaza."
Saleh further explained that Iran's proxies have attempted to transform the just cause of Gaza into a purely Iranian project. He accused the Houthis of targeting commercial vessels as a form of extortion, demanding fees from ships for passage.
