A comprehensive meeting was held in Ma'rib Governorate, northeastern Yemen, on Thursday, June 27th, to discuss preparations for the upcoming high school graduation exams, encompassing both science and humanities streams for the academic year 2023/2024.
The meeting, chaired by Deputy Governor Ali Al-Fatimi, brought together leaders from the Governorate's Education Office, district representatives, sub-examination committees, and Brigadier Yahya Al-Akwa, Assistant Director General of the Governorate Police.
Deputy Governor Al-Fatimi emphasized the local government's commitment to ensuring the success of the examination process, which is scheduled to begin on Sunday, June 30th, with 5,334 students participating.
He stressed the importance of providing conducive conditions and a comfortable environment to guarantee the smooth and successful execution of the exams, allowing students to perform at their best.
Al-Fatimi urged all relevant authorities, including security agencies and local council members, to collaborate and work in tandem with the Education Office and field oversight committees to ensure a successful and seamless examination process.
