A massive rally in Marib, north-eastern Yemen, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, showcased the unwavering support of Yemeni women for the national army in its fight against the Houthi rebels, designated as a terrorist group.

Organized by the "Women of Sana'a Capital" under the banner "Unifying the Republican Front to Restore the State: A National Necessity," the event emphasized the crucial role of Yemeni women in the ongoing struggle to reclaim the state and its republican system.

"Women remain the impenetrable shield against the Houthis' attempts to poison the minds of the youth with their vile sectarian ideologies, which are contaminating Yemen's present and future," stated Fatima al-Harazi, head of the Women's Sector at the Sana'a Capital Support Authority.

Al-Harazi highlighted the contributions of Yemeni women in supporting the national army, in addition to their political and resistance roles across Yemen.

Other speeches delivered at the rally lauded the sacrifices of women in Sana'a Capital, who continue to stand by the army in its national struggle.

The speeches also addressed the grave threat posed by the Houthis to Yemen and the region. They emphasized the sacrifices of the national army and resistance forces in their quest to restore the state and the need to continue the fight against the Houthis and their agenda until the nation is liberated.

The rally featured theatrical performances, musical segments, and poetry recitals, all reflecting the role of women in the fight against the Houthis and their unwavering commitment to achieving their goals.

The event was attended by representatives from the local authority in Sana'a Capital, the Sana'a Capital Support Council, the Women's Office in Marib Governorate, representatives from political parties, prominent social figures, and a large gathering of women.
