The Public Prosecution Office in Aden, the self-declared temporary capital of Yemen, has scheduled August 1st, 2024, as the execution date for the man convicted of killing young "Haneen Al-Bakri."
A document issued by the Aden Court of Appeal, reviewed by "Barran Press," states that "all legal procedures have been completed regarding the execution of the death sentence against the convicted Hussein Mohammed Harhara, who was sentenced in case number (50 G.G/2023 Mansoura Primary Prosecution) to death by retribution."
According to the document, the execution is scheduled for Thursday, August 1st, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the courtyard of the Central Prison in Mansoura.
The Court of Appeal has instructed the Central Prison Director and the Acting Deputy Prosecutor of the Central Prison to inform the convicted man's relatives of his right to a visit before the execution.
On June 27th, 2023, on the eve of Eid al-Adha, young "Haneen" was killed by the perpetrator, "Hussein Harhara," following an argument with the victim's father over a traffic accident. Haneen's sister, Rawaa, was also injured in the crime, which shocked the public.
