Two brothers were assassinated by unidentified gunmen in Aden, Yemen's temporary capital, late Monday evening. The city is under the security control of the Southern Transitional Council.

Local sources told "Barran Press" that the gunmen, riding a motorcycle, fatally shot "Emad Nasser Al-Batani" and his brother "Haidera" in front of their home in the Rimi neighborhood of Al-Mansoura district.

The sources reported that the assailants opened fire on the brothers, killing them instantly, before fleeing the scene. As of 1:30 AM Tuesday, there has been no official statement regarding the incident.
