Security sources reported on Thursday, August 1st, 2024, that a young man was killed after a hand grenade he was tampering with exploded in the street in Taiz city, southwestern Yemen.

The sources told "Barran Press" that an explosion rocked "Al-Harish" street in Taiz, caused by a grenade the young man was handling. The explosion resulted in his immediate death.

The sources explained that the young man pulled the grenade's safety pin and put it in his pocket, covering his ears before the grenade detonated, dismembering him.
