Marib Endowments concludes the office's first summer camp in the governorate

The Ministry of Awqaf and Guidance in Marib Governorate (northeastern Yemen) concluded its first summer camp on Sunday, August 4, 2024. The 20-day camp targeted 130 students from 10 Quranic education centers across the governorate.

The camp aimed to enhance students' awareness and knowledge, develop their skills, and foster a balanced and integrated personality, recognizing the importance of youth as the future generation.

During the closing ceremony, Abdullah Al-Bakri, Deputy Governor of Marib for Administrative Affairs, and Hassan Al-Qubaisy, Director of the Ministry of Awqaf in the governorate, emphasized the significance of such centers and summer camps. They highlighted their role in nurturing and educating children according to the principles and teachings of Islam, promoting moderation and countering extremism and destructive ideologies. They expressed gratitude for the support of businesspeople who contributed to these centers and summer camps.

At the end of the ceremony, Deputy Governor Al-Bakri and Director Al-Qubaisy honored the top-performing students and teachers, acknowledging their efforts and contribution to the camp's success and the achievement of its objectives.
