According to the official website of Marib Governorate, al-Arada inspected "Jaw al-Naseem" camp north of the city, as well as "al-Jufaina" camp south of Marib city, which is the largest displacement camp in the governorate.
The Presidential Leadership Council member was briefed on the aftermath of the storms, including damage to electricity and water services, and other public infrastructure.
In response, al-Arada instructed Dr. Abdu Rbbu Meftah, head of the governorate's sub-emergency committee, to "swiftly address the basic and urgent needs of the displaced, including shelter and food."
He also directed the committee to "expedite the repair of public services, particularly electricity, and prioritize the needs of families temporarily housed in schools during the storms."
The Presidential Leadership Council member emphasized the necessity for "emergency committees under the local authority to work tirelessly in their respective fields to protect the displaced in the camps and citizens in residential areas, providing all forms of attention and care."
He also stressed the importance of "completing the assessment of damages and submitting comprehensive reports outlining urgent and essential needs for immediate action to alleviate the suffering of those affected."
