A military official in the Yemeni army has announced that arrangements are complete for the disbursement of King Salman's grant to members of the Social Welfare Department, including martyrs, wounded, and disabled soldiers.
Brigadier General Abdallatif Al-Awadhi, head of the King Salman Grant Disbursement Committees, said in a press statement, seen by "Barran Press", that coordination has been made with over 200 ATMs to facilitate the process, which will begin on Saturday, August 24, across all liberated governorates through the "Thwani Cash" network operated by the Eastern Yemen Bank.
Al-Awadhi clarified that the disbursement will cover all martyrs, wounded, and disabled individuals whose documents have been completed and submitted to the disbursement committee. The grant includes four installments for the months of April, May, June, and July 2024, amounting to 1,183,200 Yemeni rials for officers and 788,800 rials for enlisted personnel.
Al-Awadhi attributed these efforts to the follow-up by the Minister of Defense in the internationally recognized Yemeni government, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Da'ari, and the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz.
Regarding the disbursement of the "Living Force Grant," Al-Awadhi explained that arrangements are underway with the salary committee in the Joint Forces, the General Staff Presidency, and the Central Bank of Yemen in Aden. He assured that the disbursement will commence as soon as arrangements are finalized.
