The Shura Council of the Yemeni Islah Party in Marib Governorate (northeastern Yemen) has called on party leaders, members, and all national forces to strengthen their unity and ranks in support of the battle to reclaim state institutions from the grip of the Houthi group, internationally listed as a terrorist organization.

This call was made during the second regular session, "The Martyr Ismail Henia Session," held by the Islah Party's Shura Council in Marib, chaired by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Bazeli, head of the local Shura Council, under the slogan "Together to Liberate Yemen and Reinforce the Principles of Shura."

The session saw the Shura Council listen to a report on the performance of the Islah Executive Office in Marib and its activities over the past period, presented by the head of the Executive Office in the governorate, Mabkhout bin Aboud Al-Sharif. Following the report, discussions and observations were made.

The council urged the local authority leadership to combat corruption and favoritism, implement transparency, oversight, and accountability, and take all necessary measures to maintain security and stability, firmly opposing any disruptive elements seeking to undermine public peace in Marib. The council commended the local authority's responsible handling and engagement with various issues.

The council hailed the heroic and honorable stances of the armed forces, security agencies, Marib tribes, the popular resistance, and all free Yemenis on all fronts and battlefields in the face of the "Houthi terrorist militia and disruptive elements."

The council called on the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to assume their responsibilities in stopping the currency collapse and the resulting economic deterioration, which has exacerbated the suffering of citizens. It demanded that the armed forces and security personnel be cared for and trained to match their heroic tasks, that their salaries be paid regularly, and that their living conditions be improved. The council also called for the completion of the treatment of war wounded, improving their conditions, and caring for the families of martyrs and those with special needs among the injured, detainees, and those forcibly disappeared.

The local Islah Shura Council also urgently and immediately demanded that the President and members of the Presidential Leadership Council and the UN Special Envoy pressure the Houthi group to implement the international resolution concerning the release of the prominent figure, Mohammed Qahtan, a member of the Yemeni Islah Party's Supreme Council.

The local Islah Shura Council appealed to the party's leadership, members, and supporters to rally and celebrate the national holidays of September 26th and October 14th, commemorate the 34th anniversary of the Islah Party's founding, and remember the historical sites of Marib.

The local Islah Shura Council praised the fraternal stances of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Coalition countries in their sincere support for the Yemeni people to end the coup and restore its internationally recognized legitimacy.

The local Shura Council saluted the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in Gaza and all Palestinian territories, calling for a unified stance to pressure the Israeli entity and its supporting countries to stop the war, expedite the delivery of humanitarian aid, rebuild Gaza, and address the consequences of the destructive war.
