A young Yemeni athlete died in a traffic accident in the Murkha al-Sufla district of Shabwah governorate (southeastern Yemen) on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
Local sources told "Barran Press" that Salem Ali Latnab al-Nasi, a player for both the "Shabab Murkha" and "Al-Sad" teams, was killed in the accident.
Sources confirmed that al-Nasi was riding a motorcycle when it collided with a car loaded with qat, which was reportedly speeding. The impact resulted in his immediate death.
