On September 22, 2024, the Education Office in Marib province, northeastern Yemen, issued a directive for both public and private schools to dedicate their school broadcasts on Wednesday, September 24, to discuss the Yemeni revolutions.

According to a memo circulated by the office, all schools in the province are required to focus their broadcasts on the 26th of September and 14th of October revolutions. The directive emphasized the importance of keeping the spirit of these revolutions alive throughout the academic year, highlighting their symbols, achievements, and the heroes who fought for them.

The memo also stipulated that school broadcasts should cover the goals and noble principles of the revolutions, exposing the atrocities of the defunct imamate system and colonial oppression, as well as the Yemeni people's struggle for freedom and liberation. This approach aims to enhance revolutionary culture, republican values, and national loyalty among the younger generations, while also challenging the remnants of the imamate and colonialism.

In parallel, Marib is witnessing extensive official and public preparations to celebrate the 62nd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution.

Earlier today, Mohamed Atiyah, Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Office, stated to "Barran Press" that his office is implementing directives from Marib Governor Major General Sultan Al-Aradah in preparation for the national holiday celebrations, including the 61st anniversary of October 14.

Atiyah noted that the city has been adorned with national flags and slogans from both revolutions. Numerous activities are being organized to express joy and pride in this significant national occasion.

He called for the commemoration of these anniversaries, asserting that they inspire a spirit of freedom and hope among the people, especially as remnants of the imamate attempt to erase this great revolution from the collective memory of future generations.
