Taiz, Yemen - On September 22, 2024, local sources reported that three children sustained severe injuries and burns following the explosion of a household gas cylinder in a home in Taiz, in southwestern Yemen.

According to sources speaking to "Barran Press," the incident occurred inside the residence of Mohammed Ahmed Taher in the "Aqbah" neighborhood of the Al-Jahmaliyah area.

The explosion resulted in third-degree burns for the three children and caused significant damage to the home, a nearby room, and a commercial shop located beneath the building.

"Barran Press" obtained surveillance footage capturing the moment of the gas cylinder explosion and the subsequent damage inflicted on the structure.
