On September 19, Brigadier General Muhammad Abdullah Nasser Mujaidee' passed away, leaving behind a legacy of military service marked by sacrifice and dedication. With nearly 20 years of experience combating the Iranian-backed Houthi rebellion, Mujaidee's career spanned significant conflicts, including the six Saada Wars from 2004 to 2010, the battle for Sana'a, and the ongoing conflict in Marib.

Born in 1958 in the Jabal Murad district of Marib, Mujaidee' was a father of eight sons and four daughters. He received his early education in his hometown before joining the military in the mid-1970s, initially serving in the Central Security Forces.

Mujaidee' was instrumental in establishing the Central Security Forces in Sana'a, where he began as a trainer and rose to become the chief training officer. He trained thousands of soldiers across Yemen and held various military qualifications, including parachuting and specialized courses. His accolades included multiple bravery awards and commendations.

Throughout his career, Mujaidee' progressed through the ranks, ultimately leading a battalion within the Central Security Forces. He commanded his unit in numerous operations across different provinces, known for taking on complex missions in Marib, Ibb, Saada, and Taiz.

During the Houthi uprising, he was appointed to lead a battalion in Saada, where he faced significant challenges. In negotiations between the government and the Houthis, the latter demanded Majidi's removal from the province, a condition the government accepted.

Afterward, he was appointed commander of the Central Security Forces’ riot control unit and later led the security belt in the capital, Sana'a, in 2009-2010. In 2008, he played a crucial role in confronting the Houthi rebellion in Bani Hashish during the fifth war, known for his effectiveness in complex operations.

In 2011, during the events in Taiz, he worked to maintain security and protect public and private property. Following the Houthi takeover of Sana'a and state institutions in September 2014, he returned to Marib to defend the republic, joining the National Army.

Mujaidee' participated in key battles against the Houthis in Sarwah from April to October 2015 alongside Major General Abdul Rab al-Shadadi, a long-time comrade from the Saada Wars. By early 2016, he was appointed commander of the first battalion in the 26th Mechanized Infantry Brigade.

He played a significant role in the liberation of Hrib and Ain districts in March 2016 and led operations to free Bayhan and Aseelan in late 2017, contributing to the complete liberation of Shabwa.

Throughout his military career, Mujaidee' sustained several injuries, and tragically, one of his sons was killed in action, while others were wounded fighting alongside him.

Despite his health struggles, including a severe heart condition, Mujaidee' remained committed to the fight against the Houthis until his passing after a prolonged illness. His dedication spanned over 50 years of military and security service in defense of Yemen and the principles of the September 26 Revolution.

Brigadier General Muhammad Mujaidee's death marks the end of a remarkable chapter in Yemen's military history, leaving behind a legacy of valor and inspiration for future generations.
