On September 24, 2024, the Iran-backed Houthi group, classified as a terrorist organization, launched artillery and drone strikes on civilian homes in the Harib district of Marib governorate in northeastern Yemen.

According to the reporter of Barran Press, the bombardment specifically targeted the villages of Al-Dhera' and Wadho in the Al-Madarain region of Harib, causing significant damage.

The attack resulted in material damage to the home of citizen Saleh Mohammed Al-Salmi Al-Qubaisi in the village of Wadho, and also damaged Al-Qubaisi's vehicle near Al-Dhera'.

Earlier this month, Houthi militants conducted missile strikes on homes in the neighborhoods of Rawdhan and Al-Rawdha in northern Harib, coinciding with the group's celebrations of the Prophet's birthday.
