On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, local sources reported the death of a young man who was struck by an ambulance in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

According to information obtained by Barran Press, the ambulance, which was coming from Shabwa province in the southeast, ran over the son of citizen Yislam bin Afia Al-Lahqi Al-Kazmi in the area of Deyqa in Abyan.

The sources confirmed that Al-Kazmi died while being rushed to the hospital. Community members managed to apprehend the ambulance driver after he fled the scene, tracking him down in the Al-Ain area of Abyan and handing him over to the relevant authorities.
