On Thursday, September 26, 2024, Ahmad bin Mubarak, the internationally recognized Prime Minister of Yemen, vowed to confront significant challenges as the Houthi movement, designated as a terrorist organization, targets the country’s oil export facilities.

Speaking at a cultural and speech event in Marib, northeastern Yemen, to commemorate the 62nd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution, bin Mubarak expressed his honor in celebrating this occasion with the people of Marib, as reported by the official Saba News Agency.

He stated, "The September 26 Revolution continues and will persist as long as the abhorrent clerical mentality remains." The Prime Minister highlighted the setbacks caused by the Houthis, which have hindered Yemen's developmental progress and thwarted the nation's aspirations for a dignified future.

Bin Mubarak emphasized that Marib has become a symbol of renewed struggle against oppressive clerical rule, reiterating the government's commitment to support the army and fulfill its needs while honoring the wounded and the families of martyrs.

In his speech, he reflected on Yemen's historical struggle, noting its resilience and unity despite past divisions. "The shared identity and belief in a common destiny were not deterred by the fragmentation of the past," he remarked, recalling historic figures such as Ghalib Rajeh and Aboud Al-Sharabi, who fought against tyranny and colonialism.

"The dark, revolutionary militia and its backers will not defeat a people still ignited by the flame of struggle and the spirit of revolution against oppression and sectarian projects under any guise," he declared.

Bin Mubarak also addressed the ongoing violence in occupied Palestine, condemning the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people as "one of the most brutal and flagrant violations of human rights and international norms."
