The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across 12 Yemeni provinces over the next 24 hours.
In its daily bulletin, which was reviewed by Bran Press, the center indicated that clear weather is expected in mountainous areas, with cooler temperatures during the night and early morning. Daytime conditions are expected to be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with a likelihood of thunderstorms developing in the afternoon in parts of the provinces of Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, and the highlands and plains of Tihama. Scattered rainfall is also anticipated in parts of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Al-Dhale, Lahij, Abyan, Shabwa, and the western regions of Sana'a and Dhamar.
The forecast for coastal areas includes clear to partly cloudy skies, with occasional thunderstorms and scattered rainfall along the western and southern coastlines. Moderate to brisk winds are expected around the Socotra Archipelago, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 knots.
The National Center for Meteorology also predicts partly cloudy skies in desert regions, with moderate winds stirring dust and sand.
