Cold Weather Forecasted for Seven Mountainous Provinces in Yemen

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has predicted cold weather during the night and early morning in five mountainous provinces and parts of two others.

According to the daily bulletin from the center, reviewed by "Barran Press," the provinces expected to experience cold conditions include Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, as well as the highlands of Ibb, Al-Dhale, and Abyan. The minimum temperatures in these regions are expected to range between 4 to 8 degrees Celsius.

The center also forecasted relatively cold weather in the deserts and internal plateaus during late night and early morning hours.

This morning, the lowest recorded temperatures at various weather monitoring stations were reported as follows: Dhamar at 5.3°C, Amran at 6°C, Sana'a at 6.6°C, and Al-Sadah in Ibb at 8.5°C.

The center has warned residents, particularly children, the elderly, and workers during nighttime and early morning hours, as well as farmers in the aforementioned areas, to take necessary precautions against the cold weather.
