On Sunday, November 24, 2024, a responsible source from the Presidential Office refuted media reports characterized as "misleading" regarding strained relations between the Presidential Leadership Council and the internationally recognized Yemeni government.
Speaking to Barran Press on the condition of anonymity, the source dismissed claims suggesting that the Leadership Council had requested financial allocations from Prime Minister Ahmed Awdh bin Mubarak for the council's members.
The source emphasized that there are “no financial allocations for the presidential institution from the state budget” and denied any requests made to the government since August of last year regarding this matter.
