On December 11, 2024, the Meteorological Center for Forecasting and Early Warning in Yemen's Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority announced that coastal areas are expected to experience clear to partly cloudy weather, generally moderate in temperature, with light to moderate winds.

In its daily weather bulletin, monitored by Barran Press, the center indicated that mountainous regions would see clear and very cold, dry weather, particularly in the northern highlands, with cold temperatures during the night and early morning. Meanwhile, desert and inner plateau areas are predicted to have clear, moderately warm weather during the day and cold temperatures at night, with light to moderate winds.

The center provided the following forecast for maximum and minimum temperatures in several provinces on Wednesday: Aden 30°C/22°C, Sana'a 20°C/0°C, Mukalla 30°C/21°C, Socotra 30°C/19°C, Al-Ghayda 29°C/18°C, Say'un 28°C/11°C, Taiz 26°C/9°C, Al-Dhale'e 28°C/13°C, Marib 26°C/10°C, Ataq 24°C/10°C, Lahij 29°C/19°C, Al-Hudaydah 30°C/23°C, Zinjibar 29°C/21°C.

The center warned residents in high mountainous areas about the low temperatures, urging them to take necessary precautions, especially for children and the elderly. It also cautioned vehicle drivers in mountainous and sloped regions about potential fog and reduced visibility, as well as farmers in high-altitude areas regarding the risk of frost due to dropping temperatures.

Additionally, the National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning predicted a possibility of frost formation in the provinces of Sana'a, Dhammar, Sa'adah, Amran, and Al-Bayda.
