MARIB, Yemen — On January 1, 2025, Abdullah Al-Bakri, the Deputy Governor of Marib, emphasized the region's abundant investment opportunities during the inauguration of the Mok Hotel and Suites in the provincial capital.

Speaking at the event, attended by key local officials including the Assistant Director of the Governor’s Office, Abdrabuh Halas, and the Deputy Director of the Tourism Office, Yasser Al-Aghbari, Al-Bakri noted that Marib is thriving with potential for investors, particularly due to its security and stability, an active judicial system, and encouraging incentives from local leadership, notably from the Presidential Council member, Major General Sultan Al-Arada.

"This investment project is a significant addition to the tourism sector's infrastructure in the province," Al-Bakri stated, reaffirming the local authority's commitment to fostering partnerships with both national and foreign investors to achieve sustainable development and reconstruction.

The investor behind the project, Khaled Al-Ajji, provided details about the hotel, which has an investment cost exceeding $1 million and features a basement, ground floor, and nine additional floors, offering five suites and 90 hotel rooms.
