Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), has been voted Personality of the Year in a poll conducted by Barran Media, securing 70% of the votes.

The poll garnered nearly 3,000 votes across various social media platforms, showcasing significant engagement from Bran Media's followers.

The survey presented three prominent Arab figures who made headlines in 2024: Sinwar, who initiated the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation; Ahmed Al-Shara, the leader of the Syrian opposition forces that played a pivotal role in toppling Bashar al-Assad; and Hassan Nasrallah, the Lebanese Hezbollah leader killed in an Israeli airstrike.

In the final results, Sinwar led with 62% of the votes, followed by Al-Shara with 32%, while Nasrallah received 6%.
