A funeral was held Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in Marib for Colonel Mohammed Ali Al-Nasim, who died shortly after his release from five years of captivity in Houthi prisons. Military leaders, relatives, and friends attended the official and popular funeral, according to the Armed Forces Media Center. Mourners vowed that the Houthis' "crime against Colonel Al-Nasim will not go unpunished," emphasizing the need for justice for all detainees and reaffirming their commitment to continue fighting until victory.

Sources reported on February 1, 2025, that Al-Nasim died shortly after his release.
