Tribes from Sana'a governorate held a gathering in Marib governorate on Saturday, declaring their readiness to support the military in the fight against the Iran-backed Houthi rebels. Barran Press reported that the tribes called for unity among all Yemeni tribes against the Houthis, accusing them of committing atrocities and attempting to impose a Persian identity on Yemen.
The tribes expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the army and security forces in restoring the state and ending the Houthi coup.They stressed the need for continued support from the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to unify and strengthen efforts against the Houthis.
The tribes also commended the Saudi-led Arab coalition for its support and urged its continuation to expedite victory and end the Houthi coup.
This gathering follows recent meetings in Marib with other tribes, including Murad, Bani Abid, Hashid, Bakil, Arhab, Nihm, and Bani Harith, demonstrating a growing unified front in support of the armed forces against the Iran-backed Houthis.
