On Thursday, the Yemeni Armed Forces reported successfully repelling multiple attacks by the Iran-backed Houthis across several fronts in Marib province, northeastern Yemen.
According to Army's website September Net, the army countered infiltration attempts and retaliated against Houthi fire along various front lines. Specifically, forces thwarted a Houthi infiltration attempt on the Mas Front, located north of Marib, compelling the attackers to retreat.
In a separate incident, an infiltration attempt on Al-Zur Front, west of Marib, was repelled following intense clashes, resulting in casualties among Houthi fighters.
The Houthi movement has escalated its attacks since January, utilizing artillery, tank fire, drones, and Katyusha rockets to target Yemeni army positions on the southern, northern, and northwestern fronts of Marib province.
