Marib, Yemen - Brigadier General Sultan Al-Arada, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, announced on Saturday, May 25, 2024, the establishment of a medical city in Marib Governorate (northeastern Yemen).

The announcement came during the opening of the first medical conference in Marib, which is being organized by the College of Medicine at Saba University and the Yemeni Medical Specialties Council, according to a correspondent for "Barran Press".

In addition to establishing a medical city, Al-Arada announced the construction of a medical college and a university hospital, funded by the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen.
