The "Imkan Foundation for Development and Entrepreneurship" hosted a workshop on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, in Marib governorate, aimed at exploring and strengthening the private sector's role in peacebuilding in the region. This initiative is part of the Youth Team's efforts to support local mediation initiatives in Yemen.

The workshop, attended by representatives from the private sector, local authorities, and peacebuilding mediators, sought to foster partnerships between the private sector and civil society to support the governorate's stability and peace and to achieve sustainable development.

Participants discussed a preliminary field study exploring the private sector's peacebuilding efforts in recent years and the challenges they face in the governorate. The Youth Team for Local Mediation showcased their activities and initiatives over the past two years, highlighting the private sector's involvement and contributions.
