"Witnesses for Human Rights" (shohood) concluded a three-day training workshop in Marib governorate, northeastern Yemen, on Monday, June 10, 2024, aimed at equipping participants with the skills to effectively document human rights violations according to international standards.

The workshop, which trained 20 activists, human rights defenders, and lawyers, focused on enhancing their abilities to document violations with high efficiency and advocate for victims.

The training program included a combination of theoretical sessions and practical exercises covering techniques for collecting evidence and testimonies, preparing human rights reports, and adhering to internationally recognized standards for documenting human rights violations.

The workshop also addressed the importance of accountability and achieving justice, exploring how to utilize legal tools to confront violations and ensure the protection of human rights.
